My name is Jana ROCHA SORIA. I’m an experienced teacher and a native French speaker, passionate about helping learners build real-life communication skills with confidence and enjoyment.
With several years of experience teaching languages, civilisation, and public law at university level, I specialise in designing interactive, tailor-made courses that adapt to each learner’s needs and goals. I take time to understand what drives my students, so I can offer them engaging content they relate to and can apply in authentic situations—helping them progress naturally while enjoying the learning process.
My teaching approach is inspired by best practices I discovered while studying Dutch in Belgium, where I experienced firsthand how powerful interactive activities can be. In my sessions, I use role plays, debates, games, and creative workshops to make language practice dynamic, hands-on, and memorable.
As an English speaker, I bring an insider’s understanding of the common challenges learners face. I help them navigate nuances and subtleties of expression with greater ease and confidence.
I also believe in enriching my students’ learning journey by connecting them with other experts and fresh perspectives. For example, in my “Before I Take My B1-B2 Exam” workshop, I bring in experienced FLE teachers to offer strategic exam insights. I also collaborate with creative partners, like Floriane Malot to co-develop original workshops that keep the experience varied, inspiring, and highly practical.
